Now, Vanessa Hudgens is legally allowed to smoke so, why would she get so defensive and try to snatch the video? Is it because Disney requires your soul to work for them? I think the public needs to relax. If we shelter these child stars, they will only be attracted to what we keep them from.

Look at Lindsay Lohan, Danielle Radcliff and Miley Cyrus. We put these young children in the spotlight and force them to remain in the public eye their whole lives.

We need to learn that child stars are people too and they would like to experiment with all the things that we were able to do but also with the privacy that we were privileged to. We do a lot more damage than good to today’s youths and will continue to do so unless we begin to respect a young persons privacy.
