Nearing the bottom of the eighth inning, Texas Rangers announcer – Dave Barnett was giving his usual play by play when all of the sudden he started to not make any sense.

“[The] Go-ahead run is at fifth,” said a halting Barnett, “On what Adams is insisting on calling a botched robbery. What actually happened was his henchman…”

It seemed as if Dave suffered a stroke on live television. Doctors say he may have suffered a transient ischemic attack.

Dave Barnett will miss the next two games as he undergoes testing for a possible stroke.

We wish Barnett the best but, I really would’ve been interested in seeing where his ramblings would have gone if the producers hadn’t shut off his mic.
