SPIKE LEE APOLOGIZES For TWEETING WRONG GEORGE ZIMMERMAN ADDRESS
Spike Lee has apologized for retweeting the address of what he thought to be George Zimmerman’s.
Lee tweeted the address to his 250,000 followers last weekend, but it wasn’t George Zimmerman’s (the shooter of Florida teen Trayvon Martin) it was David and Elaine McClain’s address.
The couple were forced to leave their home because of the many threats that ensued.
But late Wednesday night (probably after the Knicks game) Lee tweeted, “I Deeply Apologize To The McClain Family For Retweeting Their Address. It Was a Mistake. Please Leave The McClain’s in Peace.”
