As if being homeless wasn’t horrible enough, Ronald Poffo – The Miami Zombie victim will now have to live like this for the rest of his life. It’s pretty disturbing what we can do to one another just to get a “high”.

This whole Bath-Salts epidemic is more wide-spread than we think. Drugs are getting cheaper, more dangerous and easier to obtain and yet we have this war on Marijuana.

I think we need to reset our priorities and look into these unknown forms of narcotics before we end up with more victims from drugs our government does not even know about.

Poppo is said to be awake and alert, and the hospital has set up a donation fund for Poppo. If you’d like to donate to Poppo’s recovery, you can do so directly at the Jackson Memorial Foundation website that the hospital has set up in his name. The donation effort has already raised $15,000 for Poppo’s recovery.

Poppo lost his nose and one of his eyes during the attack, but may regain some vision in his remaining eye.

Poppo is said to be following the NBA playoffs, and reportedly expressed his support for the local team, telling doctors, “Go Heat.”
