So Bristol Palin was riding the mechanical bull at the Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip (no joking) when Stephen Hawks made a remark that would send Bristol into a rage.

A rep for Bristol told TMZ, she

“was approached in a confrontational and inappropriate manner when two men aggressively shouted expletives aimed at her in reference to her mother. Bristol responded to the unprovoked verbal assault by calmly standing her ground and defending her family.“

Stephen Hanks yelled,

“Your mother’s a whore”

Bristol, being a public figure (I don;t know why) could have easily walked away with her head held high but, Bristol shouted at Hanks,

“I just know you are” a homosexual.”

The rep believes there was nothing bigoted about Bristol’s words — saying,

“The situation ended with no incident, and accusing her of homophobia is completely unfounded and totally misstates her views.“

Wait a minute! I remember an incident with Tracy Morgan, Joakim Noah (Chicago Bulls), CM Punk (WWE) and Kobe Bryant (L.A. Lakers), where they were caught on camera yelling Gay Slurs causing some to not only pay fines, but publicly apologize as well. Why does Bristol get special treatment?
