Sean Payton plans to speak with Bill Parcells during his trip to Florida for the NFL’s annual meeting. Parcells would hold the position while Payton serves his year-long NFL suspension for his involvement in the Saints’ bounty scandal.

Although there is much speculation, nothing is set in stone. Parcells (The Tuna) who is 70 years of age may be a good fit if Peyton doesn’t appeal.

You see, if Payton appeals the suspension levied last week by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, Payton may be more likely to promote a current staff member on an interim basis until his return.
