With Hollywood producers having no original ideas, they have yet again decided to destroy a classic. They have decided to go into the 80′s vault, and pull out a television show that launched the careers of both Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson Pete. That’s right, “21-Jump Street is the latest victim in Hollywood’s never ending war on good movies and television shows.

Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum star in the new remake, as rookie cops going undercover in a local high school to stop a crime ring. Kind of sounds like every partner cop movie that has ever been made to me, why name it “21 Jump street”?

Nick Offerman of “Parks and Recreation,” plays the captain and reassigns Jonah and Tatum to “21 Jump Street.” Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson Peete will have cameos.

The movie looks to be a comedy keeping nowhere near the original platform of the series. It’s the same premise, buddy buddy cops who are looked at as jokes in their department, who happen to stumble on the biggest case in the city and become heroes. Throw in some comic relief cameos and boom! People are paid millions of dollars for stealing ideas.
